Three

$ 1,500.00 USD

There are many places in scriptural canon, history and religious tradition where three (named or unnamed) figures play a significant role. At times, in relation to this piece, as the artist contemplating potential titles, he was tempted to tie it down to a simple application or interpretation. But there are many possibilities. Here are just some of them:
.  the Godhead
.  Shem, Ham and Japheth
.  the three figures who visit with Abraham in Genesis chapter 18
.  Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
.  Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego
.  Peter, James and John
.  Helaman, Shiblon, Corianton
.  the Three Nephites
.  the three main narrators and editors of the Book of Mormon - Nephi,    Mormon, and Moroni
.  the Three Witnesses - Oliver Cowdery, David Whitmer, Martin Harris
The title "Three" was chosen to leave interpretation open to these or other possibilities.
